Product Description:

Sometimes death is just the beginning...

It just figures that the love of Lindsey Water's life isn't alive at all, but the grim reaper, complete with a dimpled smile and Scottish accent.

After transporting souls to heaven for the last 300 years, Aiden MacRae has all but given up on finding the one whose love will redeem him and allow him entry through the pearly gates.

Torn between her growing attraction to Aiden and heaven's siren song, Lindsey must learn the hard way whether love really can transcend all boundaries.

My Thoughts:

Lindsey's story begins with her death. It's not often you get to start a book like that, and that wasn't the only wonderfully unique thing about Between. It's only the beginning. When she wakes up in a beautiful meadow, at the feet of a beautiful Scottish guy, Lindsey soon finds herself falling head over heels in love. Who knew love would come after her life had already ended?

I was completely swept away by the beautiful writing and beautiful love story of Between. Watching as Lindsey and Aiden fell in love, enjoyed simple things like each others favorite meals, and helped each other come to grips with things they struggled with, was just a great pleasure to read. Both of them were such amazing characters, with such powerful voices. You can't help but fall in love right along with them.

Did this book have a lot of Christian references? Yes. Did this affect my enjoyment of the book? Not in the least, it only added to it in my opinion. These characters are very sound in their faith, and I really enjoyed that for a change.
Between was a beautiful tale of romance and redemption. It was an enjoyable read from beginning to end. With tender moments, sad moments, crazy plot twists and an ending that left me completely satisfied like a tall glass of lemonade on a hot summer day, Between is a book you don't want to miss. I know I will be devouring book 2 as soon as it is in my greedy little hands, and I recommend that you all give Between a try as well.

(AGE NOTE: These characters are college age and there are sexual references in this book, so it may not be suitable for all younger readers.)
